Package design for brookston oaks brewery

The name of this craft gluten free beer was inspired by the client’s description of the lager as “light and refreshing with a hint of golden colour,” I named this gluten free craft beer “Golden Hour.” Golden Hour is the term used to describe the time just before sunset, when everything is soaked in a warm gold hue just before the word is shrouded in the darkness of night.

The design for the can seeks to show the story of the new Brookstone Oaks brewery in symbols, rather than tell it in words. The windmills represent the region where the brewery is located. Harrow and Essex county are full of wind turbines which power the area, including the farm lands which feed our cities. The small line-based illustrations continue to tell the story, depicting the brewing process from farm to pint glass.
